About us
As one of the largest property owners in Austria, we, BIG, bear responsibility across generations and are on the ground throughout the whole country.
Our portfolio comprises around 2,000 properties and land with a fair value of almost 17 billion euros. It consists primarily of educational buildings such as schools, universities and special properties, but also includes office and residential properties. Our largest tenants include the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, the Austrian universities and the Federal Ministries of the Interior and Justice.

Around 500,000 people go in and out of our buildings every day. We manage and support our properties throughout their entire life cycle, from their new build through to demolition. Throughout this time, the needs of our tenants also change – and that is why we constantly develop our properties.
